A DAY ON THE FARM | DISCOVERING THE VERGER CHAMPÊTRE

Tucked away into a little corner of the Eastern Townships, is the Verger Champetre. Owned and operated by married couple Thèrese and Mario, the site consists of over 200 acres of farmland as well as multiple different orchards and gardens for visitors to explore. It is also one of the only places in Quebec that offers visitors the chance to walk with either a miniature horse or an alpaca along an interpretive trail. Along with that experience, there is an abundance of different activities to partake in and things to see, making the Verger Champetre the perfect nature lovers’ paradise.

EXPLORE QUEBEC | A SUMMER DAY AT PARC SAFARI

With a dromedary camel on one side of you and massive yaks strolling past you on the opposite side, this unique zoo is one of the only places in North America that will leave you feeling like you’re on your own African safari in the comfort of your own vehicle.

In this sort of series that I’ve been doing on my blog showcasing places to visit and explore around Quebec, the next place I’ll be showing you guys is the Parc Safari found in Hemmingford, Quebec, a small town found about an hour away from Montreal.
